Day Trips & Short Stays
The Clarence Valley has some special hidden treasures to explore and they are usually only a short drive away, which makes for a great day trip. Eg, Platypus Flat in the south near Wild Cattle Creek S/F. If your lucky, you may catch a climps of a platypus or two in the tributaries that feed the Nymbioda & Boyd rivers. These two river flow into the Mann, which in turn meets the Clarence at the Junction. The Clarence starts it's jouney in the north above Tabulam. The Northern Rivers offer some wonderful day trips, Mt Warning, Wooli & Mini Waters and The Coffs Coast & the upper Clarence river system, from Nymboida, Buccarumbi in the south to Washpool & Drake in the north.
