How to add Smileys to SMF
I use freesmileys.org, but you can use any site for this.
Search through the list for the smiley you would like to use.Here I've choosen the Shocked smiley from the list
Left click the one you would like and save to a folder.
I choose the top right hand one
File transfer the image to were SMF is installed. I use FileZilla for this. Navigate to the folder 'smileys'
There may be two or more sets of smileys, Upload the image to the set that you are curently using.
Next Step, Login as an Admin into the back office of your forum.Navigate to, Forum, smileys and message icons.
And click, add SmileyScoll down the list and click on the smiley that you uploaded.
Next, give the Smiley a name and a code, then save,
(Note make sure it doesn't have a code the same as another smiley in the list), you can check this throught the Edit tab.
Your smiley will now be available in the list of smileys as an Icon.
You can repeat this as many times as you like.Enjoy your Smileys
